As the Maritimes’ current buzz band, Cy mixes vocal harmonies and guitar chords to create a music of today and of of yesteryear. Comprised of three guitars and four voices, this band took the Éloize 2016 award in the Discovery of the Year category, thanks to its union blend of folk, progressive and traditional folk styles. With a sound at timesthat is both warm and harmonious, their first album Deuxième nation, launched released this past June, confirms how Cy simply just knows how to charm listeners from one end of Acadia to the other.

CHRISTIAN KIT GOGUEN

As a founding member of Ode à l’Acadie,  and as Cirque du Soleil singer for Cortéo and Zarkana in Europe and the US, singer-songwriter Christian Kit Goguen has been on the road for over a decade. Now back on Acadian soil, he returns to his two solo albums while also presenting performing new songs,  while accompanied on stage by his loyal friend, talented multi-instrumentalist François Emond. Together, they will have audiences experience an evening that will transport their audience them from Moscow to Miscou, through songs and stories of voyages travels and friendship.

Originally from Saint- Adèle in the Quebec Laurentians, Michel Robichaud blends Ccajun instrumentation with a folk-pop sound and exceptional lyrics. His catchy tunes and as his charismatic charm have earned him an award at the 46th Festival international de la chanson de Granby. Genuine musical jewels of varying scope from one single songster, his songs arethey are bound to please amateurs fans of folk-pop who don’t take themselves too seriously.

Denis Richard is known as one of the great Acadian singer-songwriters of our time. With three other musicians, his show features songs from his new album, as well as great successes from his past albums. Richard created his own style, a folk-rock sound where each rhyme speaks of a personal experience. We get a taste of songs woven together telling bythrough tales of daily life and of collaborations with other great artists, all nicely fed enhanced by a spiced-up past spiced-up bya spr full of tours and travels.

Isabelle Bujold, Nadine Hébert and Monique Poirier’s voices are like a good ol’pair of slippers; they are at their best when they are together. About 15 years after getting to know each other on stage, they now exchange parenting advice in the dressing rooms and get their hours of therapy onstage. A show to be enjoyed, featuring bothamong cover versions and original songs. It has a varied repertoire, whether by language, its origin, or the topics covered. The harmonies are warm, at times stunning, and tightly woven.

Graduates of the music program of the Collège Lionel-Groulx in Sainte-Thérèse’s in 2008, music program in 2008, RAFFY was conceived as a way in order to introducemake audiences discover to an authentic sound that ties together rock, pop, and reggae, in an unique way. On stage, the group’s charisma and vibrant energy of the multi-instrumentalist singer and the group’s charisma will undoubtedly make you smile, sing and dance! These four musician friends will bring us you to your feet with francophone compositions set to sunny rhythms interspersed with saxophone and percussions, as well as popular cover songs played in their own unique style.

PANDALÉON

Working in perfect harmony,, like a three-headed beast, the Eastern Ontario band Pandaléon is inspireds itself by by the sights and sounds of the surrounding countryside. Their performance on stage reflects what inspires them, at times calm and ambient, and at times intensively strong. In the impressive arrangements, precisely intermingled with enchanting melodies and experimental sounds, we recognize a post-rock sound, currently the most mastered of its kind across the Canadian Francophonie.

IZABELLE

Izabelle has been part of the New Brunswick music scene for over ten years now. A member of the group Angry Candy who were y, finalists in Canada’s Got Talent in 2012, her taste for the French song came to her after participating in the Éloizes un in May 2014. With a powerful voice, she dares to create francophone music that will make you laugh and cry, telling stories through song in an American pop-rock sound that is truly hers, all delivered with incredible passion. With a contagious energy, Izabelle fires-up the stage wherever she plays.

You may know her from her time on Canada's Got Talent as lead singer of Angry Candy. Her raw and powerful voice will leave you speechless.
